Eligibility Criteria

Applicants must meet all requirements:

  • Nationality:
    Must be a Ugandan citizen.
  • PLE Candidate:
    Sat for the 2025 Primary Leaving Examinations.
  • Academic Merit:
    Achieved Aggregate 4-6.
  • Year 8 Entry:
    Joining Cambridge Secondary in 2026.

Important Exclusions

The scholarship does not cover:

  • School Uniforms
  • External Exam Fees (Checkpoint/IGCSE)
  • Co-curricular clubs and trips
  • Personal expenses and incidental costs

Duration & Continuity

Our commitment to your academic journey.

Duration

The scholarship commences in Year 8 and runs through Year 11 (IGCSE Level).

Continuation to A-Level (Years 12 & 13) is performance-based and granted strictly on academic merit in IGCSE final results.

Performance Requirement

To maintain the scholarship, students must demonstrate consistent academic excellence.

The Checkpoint Rule:
In Year 9, students must score a minimum of 45/50 in each subject in the Cambridge Checkpoint exams to retain the scholarship.

Complete the form and attach your PLE results slip.

2. Shortlisting

Verification of results and eligibility check.

3. Interview

Successful candidates are invited for an interview.

4. Offer

Scholarship offer letter sent to selected students.
