Horizon International School, Jinja offers the Cambridge International Curriculum from Early Years through to A Level, ensuring a globally recognized standard of education.

We admit learners from age 2 to 19 across the following stages:

  • Early Years: EY1 – EY3
  • Primary: Year 1 – Year 6
  • Lower Secondary: Year 7 – Year 9
  • IGCSE: Year 10 – Year 11
  • AS/A Level: Year 12 – Year 13

Our fees are comprehensive.

  • Tuition Fees Cover: Snacks, lunch, swimming lessons, ICT usage, and general facility charges.
  • Additional Fees: Books and stationery (paid annually) and Extra-curricular activities (paid termly).

A detailed fee structure is provided upon request from the admissions office.

We maintain small class sizes to ensure individual attention:

  • Early Years: Maximum 15 learners.
  • Primary & Secondary: Maximum 20 learners per class.

We offer a wide range of activities to develop the whole child:

  • Sports: Football, Basketball, Swimming, Volleyball, Table Tennis, Taekwondo.
  • Intellectual: Chess, STEM activities, Coding.
  • Arts: Instrumental music lessons, various Dance styles, Performing Arts.
  • Character: Leadership programmes and community service projects.

Student welfare is a top priority. We have a dedicated School Counsellor, a Wellbeing Office, and a Behavioral Improvement Committee.

We utilize a structured behaviour management system that focuses on positive reinforcement to support learner growth, safety, and moral development.

We believe in open partnership with parents. Communication channels include:

  • EduPage: Our primary school management system.
  • Direct Updates: Email and WhatsApp announcements.
  • Face-to-Face: Scheduled Parent-Teacher Conferences (PTCs).
  • Academic Updates: Scheduled report cards.

Yes.

  • Boarding: Available for both boys and girls in secure, supervised dormitories.
  • Transport: Daily school bus service is available across Jinja and nearby areas.
