Horizon International School Uganda is home to one of the best Music Departments in Uganda stocked with various contemporary and local instruments. The department aims at equipping learners with skills in creating and performing Music across a wide range of genres whilst expanding their technical skills using a variety of musical instruments. In the department, we also hold lessons in different world dances both for entertainment, fitness and healthy living. As a subject, students can opt to take Music at IGCSE, AS & A Levels. The Curriculum is based around the pupil’s individual skills, allowing them to flourish in their own area of expertise whether practical or technological.

Horizon also boasts of a “Horizon Band” which is fully manned by students and guided by highly experienced and talented music teachers. This band performs to the rest of the school on the ‘Horizon Social Fridays’ and on other different school events.
