As Horizon College Jinja, we organised a trip for Primary students to the Kampala during half term break. It was both educational and fun.
Trip Program was as follow:
DAY ONE OF 14th October 2016
Setting off from school at 8:00 am,
Traveling to Kampala will take 2 hours,
By 10:00 am arriving at Uganda broadcasting corporation (UBC)
Have a rest for 30 minutes and have some snacks and drinks,
By 10:35 am we will take a tour around to all studios for 2 hours,
We shall be through by 12:30 pm,
It will take less than 30 minutes to reach Café Javas at Oasis mall for lunch, which is already booked and our tables will be ready by 1:00 pm. Lunch will take an hour.
After lunch, we shall go to Century Cinema at Acacia Mall.
At 5:00 pm, we shall travel to Grand Global Hotel in Makerere where we shall have our supper and spend at the night.
DAY TWO 15th October 2016
We will wake up at 7:00 am. Preparations and breakfast will take approximately one and half hours.
Then, we will travel to Kids World Water Park in Namugongo, which will take us an hour.
The children will enjoy for three hours and at exactly 1:00 pm, we shall have lunch there.
After lunch, we shall travel to Mandela National Stadium. It will take us an hour to reach the stadium and it`s already booked. We are expected to be there at exactly 3:00 pm.
We will have an hour long tour of Mandela National Stadium. By 4:00 pm we shall be traveling to Jinja.
We reached at 6:15 pm to Jinja.
