Sports day, sometimes is referred to as a field day, is an event staged by many schools and offices in which students take part in competitive sporting activities, often with the aim of winning trophies or prizes.
We used a house system, a feature of the school is the competition between the houses; this is especially brought out during sporting events such as an inter-house sports day.
The school playground of Horizon College was filled with great zeal, excitement and frolicsome atmosphere on 19th March 2016. The programme began with a melodious welcome performance. The students displayed a wide array of colourful and reverberant event such as relays, 3 legged, sponge, sack, 100M, skipping & water races, javelin, shot put, discuss, rope tug of war and hulla hop run. Students from all classes Kindergarten, Primary and Secondary mesmerised the audience with their energetic performances.
